About Us…

We have a vision: illuminate goodness and beauty through authenticity in cinematic arts.

With everyone caught up in popularity wars and immersion in addicting social media, it’s hard to hear God (or even your own self) speak. We believe everyone will find the most freedom when living authentic to their ingrained goodness.

Everyone is created with their own perspective in life, each unique. As human beings, we need each other. We need to understand that every soul before us is created intentionally by God with equal dignity and infinite depth and beauty.

The goal of Vero Lumen is to unveil goodness and beauty through authenticity.

In Latin, Vero means “true” coming from Verus meaning “genuine” or “real”. Lumen means “light”. In proclaiming Vero Lumen, we say “True Light!” because God is the True Light and by Him all is created good. His True Light illuminates the goodness and beauty in all—this is also the root of authenticity.

The Founder…

Pio Bilot grew up on a small homestead in rural Illinois as part of a large Catholic family.

Being homeschooled and with an internal drive, he finished high school early at 15 years old. With his spare time he created goofy videos with his brothers and discovered intrigue in the cinematic arts—videography and photography.

The following year, at 16, he flew out to Escondido, California where he began education at John Paul the Great University. Three years later, he graduated with a BS in Communications Media, emphasizing in Post-Production.

He has since moved to Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and after exploring what opportunities the working world offered, Pio discovered his passion in capturing the authentic in an artistic and true light.
